The Society of Homeopaths says that it is the largest organisation that registers homoeopaths in Europe. Since homoeopathy, has never been shown to have actual benefits above and beyond the placebo effect, the organisation is highly controversial, and many genuine health practitioners are questioning its honesty and sincerity.
